The Olympus Trip 35 is popular because it is compact, simple and capable of sharp results from its 40mm lens. Its automatic exposure and zone focusing make it quick to use, while the classic design gives it strong appeal for travel, street photography and everyday snapshots.

The Olympus OM10 is aperture-priority by default, meaning you choose the aperture and the camera selects the shutter speed. Full manual shutter-speed control usually requires the manual adapter. It is still a good learner camera, but buyers should check whether the adapter is included.
