The General Imaging (GE) X5 is a 2010 digital bridge camera known for it's SLR style body, 14MP sensor and long 15x optical zoom, offering features like optical image stabilization, face/smile detection, and AA battery power for enthusiast users wanting more control than basic point-and-shoots. It sits between compacts and DSLRs, using an electronic viewfinder (EVF) and LCD screen, and was a popular model from GE's Power Pro series.
