With its 2.0MP CCD sensor, fixed Olympus lens and sliding lens cover, this is a particularly fun choice for anyone looking for a genuinely authentic early-2000s digital / Y2K aesthetic rather than the cleaner look of later compact cameras.

2.0 Megapixel CCD Sensor – The low-resolution CCD sensor is part of the appeal. Images have a distinctly early-digital character, especially compared with modern smartphones and newer digicams.
Olympus 5mm f/2.8 Lens – Fixed focal-length Olympus lens with no optical zoom, giving the camera a simple point-and-shoot shooting experience.
