The Olympus Trip 35, XA2, Mju and OM10 are all beginner-friendly in different ways. Choose a compact model if you want light travel shooting, or an OM-series SLR if you want interchangeable lenses and more control. The best choice depends on size, automation and budget.

The Olympus Trip 35 is popular because it is compact, simple and capable of sharp results from its 40mm lens. Its automatic exposure and zone focusing make it quick to use, while the classic design gives it strong appeal for travel, street photography and everyday snapshots.
