TESTED AND FULLY WORKING: Introduced in 1912, the Kodak Vest Pocket was one of Kodak’s most popular early folding cameras.
Its compact design made it small enough to be carried easily in a pocket.


The Autographic version was introduced a few years later and became particularly popular.


It used 127 roll film and produced compact-format photographs.


The camera featured a Kodak Ball Bearing shutter with B, T, 1/25 and 1/50 second settings.


Its small size and durability made it popular with soldiers during the First World War.
For this reason, the Vest Pocket Kodak became widely known as “The Soldier’s Camera.”
More than 1.7 million Vest Pocket Kodak cameras were produced between 1912 and 1926.
